EMMY AWARD No
Maps On My Taps wins the Emmy Award for best Musical Direction in a Documentary in 1981. PBS Special for nationally televised series,
"Non-Fiction Television", Starring Sandman Sims, Bunny Briggs, Chuck Green and
Lionel Hampton and his Band. Grants from PBS, Corporation for Public Broadcasting,
American Film Institute, and the National Endowment for the Arts. This 16mm film about
three tap dancers and their Tap Challenge at "Small's Paradise" Night Club in
Harlem, New York evokes the musical spirit of an era. |

CRYSTAL AWARD: Pony Express Rider won a Crystal Communicator, First Prize Award for blue
screen effects "far superior to the standard" in the TV Programs/Video-Film
category of 1996. |

WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA ANNUAL AWARD: To Lynn Rogoff whose "No Maps On My Taps-The Battle Of
The Taps" was nominated as the outstanding script of 1980 in the category of
Documentary other than Current Events. |

ORACLE INNOVATIONS FOR EDUCATION CHALLENGE GRANTS of
1996. Amerikids USA is one of only twenty, first round
finalists, for the prototype presentation, "Bill Cody and the Pony Express".
Utilizing a new authoring tool, Oracle Media Objects, Amerikids USA enters the final
round. |

"JOURNEY" an experimental ballet pas de deux, at the Festival of the Americas,
