Description: We are seeking a talented computer science student or recent graduate to join our innovative project “Leveraging AI in Education for Rediscovering Historical Dramas: The Bird Woman Series.” This project aims to engage students in untold historical narratives, particularly focusing on Native American history, through interactive AI integration. The intern will play a crucial role in developing avatar-based chatbots for user interactions and Q&A sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement chatbot interfaces using D-ID’s API, integrating conversational AI capabilities
• Collaborate with the team to create immersive, interactive learning experiences that combine historical dramas with AI magical realism
• Utilize Midjourney and Runway to enhance the visual aspects of the educational platform
• Assist in testing the chatbot interface with students and teachers, analyzing feedback for improvements

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming skills, particularly in API integration
• Experience with AI technologies, preferably D-ID, Midjourney, and Runway and WordPress
• Passion for educational technology and historical narratives
• Ability to contribute to breaking stereotypes by leveraging AI characters to deepen audience immersion
